Asked Questions
What happens after I'm matched with your nurse staffing agency?
Once matched, we’ll assign any necessary proficiency tests and send agreements via Relias. You’ll receive an email with instructions to upload required documents, such as vaccines, physical exams, certifications, and licenses. If any tests or vaccines are missing, we’ll arrange for you to complete them at a clinic, typically covering the costs if you commit to an assignment. We’ll also handle all education, reference, and license verifications.
What happens after the initial setup phase and I land a job?
After setup, you’ll receive a welcome letter with your contract details and benefits package. We’ll then have a call to review hospital regulations and your role as a company representative. Moving forward, we’ll stay in touch with weekly check-ins or occasional texts to ensure everything is running smoothly.
What benefits do I get by partnering with ProEd?
Partnering with ProEd gives you access to a premium benefits package, including reimbursement for certifications, retirement and insurance plans, and comprehensive healthcare coverage.
What is the difference between a travel nurse, per diem nurse, and full-time nurse?
A travel nurse takes temporary assignments, often in high-demand locations, typically lasting 8-13 weeks or more, with a tax-free stipend for housing and meals. A per diem nurse works on an as-needed, flexible basis, filling shifts at any of our affiliated facilities with no long-term commitment, however you can work as many days as approved by the department supervisor. A full-time nurse has a permanent position with a set schedule, receiving consistent benefits like health insurance and retirement plans. Each option offers different flexibility, pay rates, and job stability, depending on your career goals.
